Hi all.

My hosting on this server is up for renewal so I decided to look around for a better hosting provider.

I've settled on one that offers more to us so I will be moving the site over to the new host in the coming week or so.

I've also decided to setup a new CMS for the main luaplayer.org site and also integrate PGE into it too, instead of having two separate sites.

The forums should move over and be exactly the same.

I won't be moving any of the projects over - a fair few of them haven't been used in quite a while - but I am saving the data from all of them. If you wish to keep your project space email or PM me and let me know and I'll transfer it over for you.

The new host offers a lot more features, especially with regard to the project hosting I can offer to you, the users.

There will be the option of having an integrated subversion repo and trac with your hosted project, which I feel is a great bonus.

This also means that I'll be hosting subversion and trac for both Lua Player and PGE.

Thanks for reading.

I'll donate a few bucks. How much would you need per year to break even?

Will we have to re-register at the new site?

So, no, you don't need to register

I don't ask for donations as I don't expect them.

If people wish to donate my Paypal address is tias_dp@hotmail.com

The current server costs $6 p/m, the new one is $9 p/m but I got a deal for the first year.

I've put a request in to transfer the luaplayer.org domain over to the new host.

It is scheduled to take a week or two to happen, if you find the forums are down for a while it'll just be because they are moving across.

I don't want to actually perform the forum move until the domain transfer has happened, so that I can preserve all the posts.

Domain has moved - there was a little downtime but hopefully I caught all the forum stuff and moved it across.

New site should be active too.

Let me know if you find any problems.

New posts we're ok, old posts weren't.

I've fixed the old posts now too.

Thanks for the report.
